Students are taught the vocabulary of emotions through color groups. This language is reinforced through roleplay, modelling  storytime and social interactions. Children learn how to express their emotions with expected social responses. The staff has found this system to be extremely helpful in fostering personal and social responsibility. Students develop emotional awareness and ownership as this program is implemented daily.
