Educational Assistant

In 2015 Rona Pasika joined the staff of the Sherwood Park Kindergarten. Previously she was on the board in 2010 and again in 2013 when her daughters attended Sherwood Park Kindergarten. Having the parent, as well as, staff experience is an asset for both the school and the families attending. She easily converses with parents and children due to her magnetic personality. She is a positive, energetic force; eliciting smiles wherever she goes. Her disposition creates a fun and caring environment.

She is a true confidence builder. Mrs. Pasika loves spending time with her family, travelling and playing all kinds of sports. Mrs. Pasika started curling at the age of 10, which became her passion excelling into the competitive ranks. Some of her accolades include three Scotties Tournament of Hearts appearances, World Champion as well as competing in the Canadian Olympic Trails in 2013. Her love for competing still runs strong as she enjoys playing many different sports, especially ball hockey and ringette. Her zest for sports filters into our music and movement program as she helps students with skills, competence and confidence. Her stamina and energy make time in the gym an event.

Mrs. Pasika has a fun loving approach to learning as she easily connects with children on their level. She feels that working at the Sherwood Park Kindergarten is an honor and privilege. She realizes the importance of children and the profound influence early educators can have on their future.
