Daily we learn popcorn words which are sight words that often pop into sentences. The words are from the Dolch sight word bank. We don’t just memorize the words; rather, we butter them when we see them in a story. We have popping motions as we solidify the word images in our heads. We also have regular popcorn word hunts.
