The students are taught about kindness and that our actions affect other people through programming based on the book, "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" by Carol McCloud. Children learn the complex concepts of sympathy and empathy as they begin to think past their own feelings and focus on others. Caring and kindess are key in our classroom.
