We use “Animated Literacy” to introduce our kindergarten students to letters and sounds. “Animated Literacy” is a program created by Jim Stone. The program introduces children to phonological sounds, not just letters of the alphabet, with a story, song, character and action. Animated Literacy incorporates the multiple intelligences and several learning styles. Each child can find sucess with this diverse program creating a solid foundation for the future reading.
