Math concepts are introduced to the students in a “hands on” environment that uses manipulatives, songs and games. We begin with sorting and pattern concepts and move to number recognition and basic math symbols. This gradually leads the students into adding and subtracting. Math is worked into the daily routine and is not purely taught as a separate entity.
