We have a drama station with a house and numerous buckets of themed props. We change the setting to fit weekly themes. During the year the

house changes between space station, underwater submarine, safari bus, animal clinic, North Pole, school, fire department, hospital, grocery store, summer camp, and basically anything the children can imagine.

Story telling is also conveyed using our extensive puppet collection and theatre in the library station. Sequencing, recall, and vocabulary are stimulated during this type of imaginative play, increasing reading awareness and comprehension.
